The location of La Rijana, suitable all year round, means that you can combine the tranquillity of gazing across the blue of the Mediterranean with the convenience of being only minutes from the centre of a vibrant Spanish town. You can explore the coastal towns and more remote beaches or head inland to the mountains. And remember the wonderful city of Granada and the Sierra Nevada ski resort are just a short drive away.
From the windows and terrace, you can watch sunrise and sunset, follow the fishing boats and at certain times of year, spot dolphins just off the coast.
The comfortable sitting room is equiped with TV, DVD, Hi-Fi, books games and an information file. It adjoins the ample dining area and opens on to a large terrace which overlooks the pool and sea.
There is teak patio furniture for 6 and fold-up chairs/loungers for use either on the balcony or by the pool. The terrace has the advantage of being fitted with a large canopy.
The kitchen has ceramic hob, combination-microwave oven, washer, a large fridge-freezer and all the items you will need.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite).
The house has AC and heating on the lower floor and fans for each bedroom.
Outside the house, a parking space is available.
In the town, you will find Roman remains, botanical gardens (with a wonderful jazz festival in July), the bird park, castle, museum, market, water park and of course many shops, restaurants and bars.
Riding, water sports, golf and paragliding are all available nearby and there are many beaches to choose from, both in Almunecar and along the nearby coast.
The city of Granada where the marvellous Alhambra Palace is located and Nerja caves, are both within 40 mins.
